Texting While Driving

It’s a bad habit to text and drive. Have you ever thought of the consequences of texting and driving at the same time? You can have a crash and in some states they will give you a ticket if they catch you texting while driving. If you didn't have to take your eyes off the road to text while you’re driving, then texting and driving wouldn't be a bad thing. The truth is, you have to take your eyes off the road and doing that can get you killed someday. Just looking at something on the side of the road or even a sign can get you killed. So, what do you think texting can do? Talking on the phone can distract you and make you think about something else other than driving. Anything to do with a cell phone is a bad thing to use in your car. If you wanted to be really safe, you could just shut it off and put it in your pocket for when you get an important phone call. Most people just think they can handle texting and driving at the same time, but usually those are the people that we read about in the newspaper for having a wreck.
