Lets talk friendships

What does friendship mean to you? What do your friends mean to you? In high school, there tends to be a lot of drama, for most people at least. Drama can tear friends apart. It's a sad thing, but it is true. Friends can break apart because of drama from boys, stress, lies, betrayal, and any other wrongdoing. Some people are good at forgiving and some aren't. When you are fighting with your friend, you need to think about the factors that are in it. Is it all worth fighting with your friend, upsetting each other, and possibly ruining your friendship? Sometimes, friends really do come and go, like boys. That doesn't mean you should just throw away your friendships! I have seen girls lose friends that they have had since they were in first grade, second grade, etc. Drifting apart and losing a friend that way is so much different than having drama between you and losing them that way. Just stop, think about what is upsetting you, find ways to calm yourself, and separate yourself from certain people until you are no longer mad. Just think about what you are thinking about.

What to do when boys come between you and your friend:

It hurts pretty bad when you like a boy and your friend "steals" him away from you. Maybe, they liked them and you "stole" them from your friend? Whatever the case may be, if a boy is involved...drama, more than likely, will be present. What you can do is try to remain calm without assuming anything. Listen to your friend's side of the story and go from there to find conclusions on how to make things work out. Sometimes, spending time away from this person can really help you. It just helps to clear the mind, relax, and just remove the tension ( if you are actually trying to let it go ).

Keep this in mind : Best friends DON'T talk bad about each other! If you were ever a true friend to someone, you won't talk bad about them even if you guys are no longer friends. If you are as good of a person as you say you are, then prove it!

Dear Santa...

If I could write Santa a letter, it'd go something like this :

Dear Santa,

I've been very good this year. Well...I've been better than I have any other year. This year for Christmas, my wish list is pretty simple. If you could Mr. Santa Claus, please let me have the things on my list for Christmas this year:

  • Please give my mother and father the presents that they want most. They sure deserve it.
  • Give my brother a brand new truck. That way he won't have to worry about fixing it up.
  • Give my sisters money so they can afford their bills. They are working hard.
  • Give all of my nieces and nephews a lot of toys and friends to share them with.
  • Somehow, please give my best friend the most amazing Christmas she has ever had. Let her and her family come close together and spend every minute of it together.
  • Make something and/or someone put a smile on those faces that are frowning.
  • Let all broken hearts be mended.
  • Don't give me any gifts and just give those less fortunate money for presents, food, warmth, and a roof over their heads.

I know you are busy, but if you come across mine in time...please let these be my presents for Christmas.

Sincerely,
Andrea :)

If you could write a letter to Santa, what would you write? I actually got the idea to write Santa a letter from someone else. If you would like to see their (the person I got the idea from) letter to Santa, then click here. It's pretty neat!

Song of the Week - I never told you by Coblie Caillat

For song of the week I chose I never told you by Coblie Caillat because she is saying in this song that she wish she told him everything that she could have when they were together. Most guys or girls regret not telling that special person how they feel and then losing them and not being able to tell them. I have been there and it is not pretty. It really sucked. Take my advice and tell that special person how you feel now because in the future you will regret it. Also, missing a person can really be hard and hurtful to you so don't let the one you love go or take them for granted.
