About Unfabulous Teen Secrets : )

UTS is a site that was made by three people, Morgan, Austin, and Andrea for mainly teens. Our goal is to connect with teens like ourselves. We would love to hear your thoughts and tips on how to make our site better. Don't be afraid to communicate with us :] There are interesting questions, facts, polls, information on how to cook a few things, advice on anything, and a lot more fun things! We have a special activity for each day! If you would like information on those activites, look under Activities of the Day on the right column.

Jobs, everything from applications to handling work!

Have you been job searching yet? Well, I have and let me tell you it is hard especially during the winter since that is a lot of places "slow" season. Right now, I have a job, but it is not going too well for me. So I went out and got a lot of job applications. I have about 5 of them. They take forever to fill out. Honestly, if you want to make a good impression on a place with your job application is to be honest about everything! I mean it; they look for good honest nice people to work because who wants someone that is going to be rude to everyone?? Also, it's really good to have good references. References are people that they possibly call and talk to them about your strengths and weaknesses. Always pick out job application where you would be proud to say you work there. If you get a job and managers or people are giving you a hard time at work just ignore them and try to keep the job. Everyone needs money! Jobs can be very stressful. They can schedule you on days you told him you can't work or just don't give you any hours. Don't let it bug you. It will all get better in time, but if it doesn't you or your parents call in and talk to someone like a store manager. I hope this will help! Thanks. (:
