Leopards are one of the largest secretive carnivores. Leopards pretty much eat just about anything they would like to. They prey on fish, reptiles, birds, hares, and monkeys. They really like their meat. (: They live in sub-Saharan Africa, northeast Africa, Central Asia, India, and China. Many leopards are endangered especially outside of Africa. Leopards have many talents; they are the strongest climber and swimmer in the cat family. Leopards are nocturnal, hunting by night while spending most the day resting, usually draped on tree limbs or lying in thick undergrowth. Female leopards can give birth at any time of the year. When the cub is born, the mother usually keeps them around her until the cub is about 22 months. Females are capable at breeding when they are just 2 years old! That is crazy stuff right there! Leopard babies weigh around 500g at birth and their eyes open after a week. They are also very adorable, well at least I think so. (: Would you like to learn more about leopards?
