"The pregnancy pact"

Think 17 girls, 17 boys, and 17 new lives. At Gloucester High school in Massachusetts 17 young ladies were expecting to be new mother, these ladies were no more than 16 years old. The principal of this high school said "some girls seemed more upset when they weren't pregnant than when they were." It all started from one girl, she was innocent. Her and her boyfriend had no intentions of doing anything of the sort to get her pregnant. Until, the day she met this new group of "friends," about two of them were already pregnant so she thought it would be cool to be pregnant too. The girls confessed that they all wanted to get pregnant at the same time so they could have the babies around the same time and raise them together.
What I think about this?
Getting pregnant at 16? Are you that anxious to have a baby already? Girls that think they want to have a baby should really talk to their parents about it. They had you and they would tell you the truth about what it’s like being a parent. You hardly get any sleep because the baby is up most of the time wanting changed or feed. Many babies have to have something to put them to sleep like riding around in the car or being pushed in the swing that they have. I honestly think the pregnancy rate in America is ridiculously. That is just my opinion, what do you think about this?

"God first, family second, friends third & yourself last."

PhotobucketI am a christian, a very strong christian. I have always been surrounded by a christian family and friends. I have had some ups and down in my life, being a teenager with a job and school can be diffcult and stressful. Now I am not saying all of you have to take this advice, but my mom has a saying "God first, family second, friends third, & yourself last." If you want to learn from me here are some tips :

1. God should always come first in your life. In everything you do you should always have him in mind. God is the one that blessed us to be on this earth, he is the one that heals us when we are sick. Yes, you may think no doctors do that. Well yes, but God was the one that made the people to study and learn medicine to help you get better.

2. Have you ever came to a situation where you have nobody, but your family? Family is the main key in life. No matter what they are always here for you. Yes, some of us may not have a good family situation, but people show love for one another in different ways. What does family mean? Family means love, support, trust, and respect. Each of us should have all those 4 elements when it comes to family. You should never hate your mom or dad no matter how wrong they did to you. They brought you into this world, taught you things that you needed to know for life so you can go out and do those things on your own.

3. Friends. They are the ones that cheer you up when you are sad, the ones that always think of you on your birthday! We can all admit it that we couldn't go through our day without our friends. Just remember: You can only trust a few people though like 1 or 2. Also your friends in high school may not be your friends when your out of high school. Many people go there separate ways and have to go make a life for themselves. Although if you try hard enough to keep in touch with a couple of your friends from high school, that would be great!

4. Always yourself last. With everything you do always put yourself last. Say you have a project due in three days and your friend has one due the next day, she asks for your help. What do you do? You go and help her! (: Another example is If you have lunch money, but one of your friends or peers don't. Do a good deed and help them out, maybe buy both of you a snack until you get home to eat. Just be an unselfish person (:
& that is what I live by! Enjoyyy.
