Labeled as a Friend
The sun will never burn out the memories
The tears once shed will leave a stain
We can no longer dance in the rain
The nights you held me close to your heart
I wish that I could just forget
Before we even had a start
Maybe it was just a game to you
It was nothing less than real to me
Now tell me what I’m supposed to do
I don’t know where to turn to.
I have a list of all the things my life has lost
I never thought I’d find your name there too
I never registered the cost
Your heart was never more than a bit of frost
I guess this is our end
We can wait it out
So our hearts can mend
Before you’re labeled as just my friend

Did you write that?
You have a lot of talent. That poem is really nice and the structure is pretty phenomenal(sp) :)
Thank you so much! I actually think this was definitely not one of my better poems. That really boosts my confidence in though!
